Oxford has been a centre of innovation since 1231, and by about 1660 the whole county of Oxfordshire could be summed up with the image of two learned professors. We can provide you with your own clock map showing your area in the seventeenth century (unless you live in Australia, in which case it would have to be a more recent map).
